Emotional intelligence (EQ)

DISCOVER YOUR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Emotional Quotient (EQ) Test

The Universe/City Mikaël (UCM) Teaching & Research Center is a world leader in the field of understanding the mechanisms of consciousness and the well-balanced development of both our Intelligence Quotient (IQ) and our Emotional Quotient (EQ).

An Emotional Quotient (EQ) test, developed by the UCM Teaching & Research Center, is now available. It enables internet users to discover and assess the multi-dimensions of their intelligence, and hence deepen their self-knowledge.

What is the emotional intelligence?

The Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is our human ability to perceive and understand beyond form, and to behave and react sensitively, in all circumstances, situations, events, toward everyone and everything (people, objects, etc.) that we may encounter, by relying on our conscious and unconscious memories, and the positive and/or negative emotional charges contained in them.

Hence, when we look at an object, the way we recognize and evaluate it is codified in relation to the feelings and emotions we have recorded during our personal experiences with the object in question. Our experience related to this object may go back to our childhood and well beyond.

To better understand the interaction of multidimensional mechanisms that operate in our consciousness, we can draw an analogy with robotics. For example, for a robot to recognize a table, it will need more than 10 000 pictures of tables, of all kinds of shapes and colors. How we activate our human intelligence is essentially the same as a robot or a computer, except that we human beings simultaneously integrate quantum emotional dynamics related to a multitude of information recorded in our memory throughout our various experiences with that object. Hence, a table may activate sadness in a person who lived in a family where there was no communication, attention and affection in their exchanges. Whereas, for another person, the table may represent a warm, welcoming place of wonderful sharing and unity within the family. This example shows how very personal the codification of our emotional intelligence is; our individual bearings, references and capacity for recognition are codified according to our sensitive, multi-dimensional experiences. This explains the variety of associations and reactions a group of people may have on encountering the very same object.

Research and studies into decoding the workings of human consciousness are constantly on the increase. Simultaneously, their progress helps us understand the analogy with the scientific, technological revolution in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Currently, studies in this field – one of the most fascinating and important subjects of the 21st century – are flourishing worldwide. The UCM Teaching & Research Center is very involved in the study of how consciousness functions through the teaching of symbolic language, and the interpretation of dreams, signs and symbols. As we have seen with the example of the table, a symbol is determined by multiple factors and only the activation of our emotional intelligence can help us understand all of its facets.

The new leaders of today are not employed solely on the basis of their university degrees, but also for their capacities and skills in human resource management, as well as their ability to apply appropriate emotional intelligence in a wide variety of relationships. Deep understanding of people in all their aspects not only guarantees the success of a company, but success in life, on the personal, individual, family and relationship levels too. Indeed, to know true success, practical and intellectual intelligence do not suffice. Purely rational geniuses will always be limited if they do not also develop their emotional potential, especially in today’s world, where the multidimensions of consciousness are becoming more and more tangible thanks to the numerous discoveries and inventions giving them concrete form, but which risk creating damage on the individual and collective levels if they are not employed with loving wisdom – heart wisdom emotional wisdom.

GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING = TRUE INTELLIGENCE

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) phenomenally increases our lucidity in all situations that we may encounter in life. In fact, emotional intelligence confers both the capacity for global vision of a situation and profound empathy, which enables us to develop benevolent discernment and the ability to take action, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the people concerned in a situation, event, incident, etc.

Up until now, we human beings have underestimated, or ignored, the reality of multidimensions and our capacity to perceive them thanks to our innate, sublime, subtle senses, which, however, are still inactive in the majority of people. Thus, humanity simply set this potential aside to mostly concentrate on rational, logical, very concrete studies. Yet, although invisible to the naked eye, it is our emotions, feelings and sentiments added to intellectual knowledge of life that define the profound, complex understanding of who we are, the choices we make, the way we manifest, etc.

Our school programs and teaching in the schools of the future will not only aim to develop an intellectual understanding of things, but will also teach students to perceive and feel in depth; i.e. we shall teach them how to use and integrate the multidimensions of consciousness in the acquisition and application of Knowledge and the development of our multiple faculties.

In our society today, we often hear mention of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) measures to assess the overall skills and knowledge of a person. The higher above average the IQ is, the more of a genius the person is considered to be.  Of course, great geniuses in this world took the first steps on the path to intellectual knowledge; they invented wonderful things and solved very complex physical enigmas, hence the journey toward the amazing potential that lies within each and every one of us. We can now imagine our future and the future life of the new generations of multidimensional geniuses, who will emerge thanks to the alliance of IQ and EQ.
